Air suspension and I think SBC on that year. I like the W210s better unless you must have the supercharger.

Don’t think of it like a hand grenade. I think a land mine is more apt analogy. That accelerator pedal will be tempting to stomp on. At some point, you will push down with your foot and it will explode into a money pit of engine repairs .

Look for a W211 E550, nice balance between V8 power and (maybe) less expensive repairs than AMG-notes.
